Tropical Blessings is Heaven!
This was our second stay at Tropical Blessings and once again we were thrilled to have stayed here! The condo is beautifully furnished and the outdoor furniture and views are perfect. It is so nice to have a kitchen that is well stocked with spices, cookwear, etc.and the layout is very easy for multiple guests to work in. The bathrooms are spacious with new towels (plenty of them!) as well as soaps, shampoos, etc. are provided. The laundry room was equiped with detergent (tide) Bounce sheets and several nice beach towels for our use. The location is great if you want to walk to Cruz Bay and also close to Turner Bay for a stroll on the beach. We are already looking forward to the next time we can stay at Tropical Blessings!

Perfectly Beautiful

Our visit to St John was perfect thanks to the property managers and owner of Tropical Blessings. They went over and above to make our stay everything we dreamed of - from the managers working with us to secure our rental car due to an over due flight to having beach chairs and coolers available for our many trips to the gorgeous beaches. This condo is gorgeous. It's large, beautifully decorated and very, very clean. The floor plan allows for plenty of privacy. The two balconies are amazing and the furniture on them is VERY comfortable. As others have mentioned the kitchen has everything you'll ever need! Thank you, K for a wonderful stay.

Lovely condo with a fabulous view.
The pictures don't lie. The condo is lovely and comfortable and equipped with just about anything you would want. The location is within walking distance of all of Cruz Bay's attractions including the National Park Service Dock and ferry dock (note that St. John is very hilly and all walks require a certain level of fitness). This is important because parking is a pain in Cruz Bay. The view off the expansive balcony is something you never get tired of. There are even binoculars for watching the boats go by. There is a welcome basket to greet you stocked with goodies from Sam and Jack's Deli which made for great happy hour snacks and lunch the next day. In addition to towels, chairs, and coolers, there were even beach toys like pool noodles and bocce ball. A great time was had by all.

Perfection in every way!
We had a fabulous stay at Tropical Blessings! The location to town was exactly what was advertised and what we were looking for. Every consideration of our needs was met by the owner and the amenities in the unit were awesome. The kitchen is stocked better than my own! Would definitely recommend Tropical Blessings to anyone...just not for the same time we will be there! Yes, we would definitely stay at Tropical Blessings again! Thank you for an amazing experience in your home away from home!

Third stay at Tropical Blessings -- the Best Place to Stay on St. John
My friends and I have been vacationing on St. John for many years. We discovered Tropical Blessings three years ago and look forward to our return each year. Karla, the owner, makes the reservation process a breeze, and everything is perfect when we arrive. We love the view, the décor (high end tropical), the welcome basket (perfect after a long day of travel), and the convenience of walking to restaurants/bars/shops/beaches from the peaceful oasis that is Tropical Blessings. We do rent a jeep to explore the island during the day, but are happy to leave it at Tropical Blessings when we venture out to for happy hour and dinner at the many nearby restaurants. We will be back in 2017! Can't wait!!!

Another Amazing Visit!
This was our second visit to Tropical Blessings and it most certainly won't be our last. We have stayed at several locations in our many visits to St John and as far as we are concerned this home far exceeds the others. We often travel with our family and the layout of Tropical Blessings works very well with the three bedrooms with the three separate bathrooms. Not to mention the luxurious kitchen with everything we would need to cook a meal if that is what we chose to do. Both times we have stayed we enjoyed the large patio for a candlelit meal looking out onto the spectacular views. Of course it is also a great place for morning coffee. We enjoyed the shared pool for the first time this year and it was very nice. Both times we enjoyed it there was no one else there. The owner ,Karla, is very nice and helpful as well as the property managers Gail and Peter. We especially appreciated the welcome basket full of goodies from Sam and Jacks deli one of our favorite places for take out foods on the island. One of the very best parts about this condo is the close proximity to downtown Cruz Bay. We enjoyed the walk to and from whatever place we chose to dine that night. We highly recommend this wonderful condo!

Fantastic experience
Our recent stay at Tropical Blessings was nothing short of outstanding. From the process of booking throughout the actual rental itself it was such a pleasant experience. Karla, Gail, and Peter are the best team you could ask for. This was our first family vacation of this kind with our adult children and it exceeded our expectations. The location was perfect as well all could walk into town each night for dinner and didn't have to fight for parking spots. The property was tremendous from the 3 bedroom set up to very ammenity you could ask for. We have already recommended it to our family and friends. We have previously stayed in time shares on the island with Tropical Blessings being the best by far. Thanks again for making our holidays a family memory we will never forget.

Fantastic place- would book it again!
Tropical blessing was incredible... the place was very clean, great location, beautiful view, well stocked with spices, condiments, ice chests, etc. But, what stands out the most was the excellent rental management service! We've rented several VRBOs in which we had keys mailed to us, left under a mat, left at a real estate office etc., but never have we had the kind of service that we had with the Tropical Blessing property managers. They came into town to pick us up, showed us around the place and left a delicious gift basket complete with meats, cheeses, and cookies... They spent time with us going through recommendations for restaurants and attractions. What a great experience! We'd definitely rent Tropical Blessings again! Thank you!

Fabulous Spring Break Vacation! 5 STARS!
Tropical Blessings was absolutely perfect for us. We were two adult couples and 1 single friend who had visited St. John multiple times in the past (usually March and November timeframes). The furnishings are beautiful, in fact they look new. We were very impressed by the well stocked kitchen as well as the quanity of bath towels and beach towels. The openness of the living, dining and kitchen areas really promote interaction and are a great place to both begin and end your day. There are beautiful views from the terrace as well as comfortable furniture. We found ourselves eating on the terrace dining table for breakast and dinners. Tropical Blessings is truly a special place and one we hope to return to in the future. I also need to add that Gail and Peter (our hosts who met us by the car barge) were attentive and quick to respond to our questions. Very nice on-island people to work with.

Best place to stay on St. John!!!
My friends and I have been vacationing on St. John for the last seven years and all agreed that Tropical Blessings was the most beautiful and comfortable villa we have ever rented. We were welcomed by Gail (very nice and informative property manager), walked into the villa and said "wow". The villa was spacious, beautifully decorated, and everything was high end - even the beach towels were artistically folded. The ocean view was spectacular. We loved having our coffee on the balcony each morning. An extra special touch was the welcome basket of goodies from the deli - much appreciated by hungry travelers! Beds were all very comfortable, and bathrooms were updated and beautiful. Even though we had a jeep (perfect for touring the island and visiting all of the beautiful beaches), Tropical Blessings location was perfect for walking to town each evening for happy hour (favorites were Beach Bar for Pain Killers and Joe's Rum Hut for Lime in the Coconuts) and dinner (favorites were The Lime Inn and Morgan's Mango). We especially enjoyed having peace and quiet when we arrived back at the villa! We rented the jeep in St. Thomas and loved the convenience of not waiting for a taxi van to be packed with passengers and also spending less time at the airport on our return, but did not like backing onto the ferry within inches of the other vehicles. We will probably not rent a jeep on St. Thomas next year, but we will definitely be staying at Tropical Blessings!!!!

The Definition of "Perfect"
They call it "Tropical Blessings" and it could not be more aptly named! Come with us through the front entrance and experience an ambiance that says those who own this home have lifted "Tender Loving Care" to a new level! Our first words were, "Wow, I could live here!" The living room features comfort and big screen---not to mention a vista of Caribbean blue water and vessels large and small. The fully (and I do mean "fully") equipped kitchen is a Master Chef's delight with all the tools needed to prepare sumptuous meals. Your dining table can be on the beautiful balcony overlooking the aforementioned blue horizon and Tropical Blessings' extensive swimming pool. The Master Bedroom features a king size bed and second balcony that gives privacy for that early morning latte for two. Accompanying bedrooms are spacious---one with two queen size rooms and one with double beds. Did I mention the bathrooms? Let me tell you---spectacular! It's a given you'll bring your Kindle, but hey---if you forget the doggone thing you'l find a fully stocked library that is kept as though there were a librarian in residence. We found ourselves forgetting the Kindle and relishing in some of the great titles that were assembled by an inn-keeper who is really into literature! Let's see---what have I forgotten? Oh, only that you are a short walk away from all the downtown happenings and the white sand of Cruez Bay. Tropical Blessings is blessed to have an owner who attends to not only the major items but the smaller touches---wonderful linens, paintings, color coordination, quality furnishings, and attention to the tiniest detail---all to make your visit a stunning experience. As the Italians say, "Parfait!"

Spacious Luxury Living
We stayed at Tropical Blessings on our second trip to St John and had a perfect time. Our first impression was how spacious and tastefully decorated it was. We are a family of 6 and had plenty of room to be together in the great room, read quietly on one of the decks, or take a nap in one of the three large bedrooms. The masonry construction keeps things quiet and cool. The view is to the southwest. At night the lights of St Thomas and the stars fill the sky. During the day the St Croix is in the distance. Parking is a few steps away and never a problem. The 10 minute walk to town was easy, even for the 4 yr old! Everything in Cruz Bay is an easy walk. The condo is on a quiet street of private homes that made us feel we lived on St John and not just staying for a week. We met some of the neighbors on the walks to town. The kitchen has every convenience you need for entertaining and everything is in tip top shape. The greeter met us at the barge, showed us how everything worked, and provides a big book of menus for the restaurants. Tropical Blessings provides easy access to the night life of Cruz Bay and tranquil quiet when you get home.

Posh and homey, ideal location!
We stayed at Palm Terrace #2 (“Tropical Blessings”) in December 2011 and loved it! So close to Cruz Bay (10-minute walk), but still a quiet and charming neighborhood. Just a few minutes’ walk down the lane is Frank Bay Beach, which has some pretty decent snorkeling. This place is outfitted to a T – plush, comfortable furnishings, a spacious kitchen with everything you need to cook and eat in (really helps the vacation budget!), a “book nook” with an extensive collection of best-sellers, well-appointed bedrooms with bathrooms ensuite, and a washer and dryer. The great room has two sets of large sliding doors onto the deck to beautiful ocean views. Perfect for cocktails while you watch the sun set! A modern, pristine luxury condominium with St. John charm – what a great combo!

New Jersey St. John lovers
Tropical Blessing is the best name Karla could have given this beautiful condo. We just left yesterday, and I am already on line dreaming about returning as I write this review. The kitchen is the best appointed of any rental I have ever had. The decor is gorgeous, the view amazing, the great proximity to Cruz Bay night life, and the best part, my family has memories for a lifetime. We had 10 wonderful days there, and my children were asking why not 14? We enjoyed your condo so much Karla, we will never forget this stay in St. John! Thank you!

So inviting, you don't want to leave!
Tropical Blessings was even more beautiful than in the pictures! It is obvious from your initial contact with the owner, Karla, that she wants you to fall in love with St. John. Karla also wants you to feel at home and love Tropical Blessings like she does! Karla provided us with many tips prior to arrival about local services, shopping, and dining and all suggestions hit the mark. Peter and Gail were wonderful to work with also and responsive to any question or need we had. We were in St. John for our wedding with our family and Tropical Blessings was the perfect location for us. It is an easy walk into Cruz Bay for dining, shopping and watching the sun set over the water. Karla has thought of every type of item that you may need for the beach, cooking, or just relaxing in the condo. We think she has every spice available in her cupboard! The condo was perfect size for 6 of us plus a baby. We all loved sitting on the balcony morning, noon or evening watching the gorgeous view and enjoying the comfortable weather. We loved sampling the local cuisine (and all of it was outstanding), but we enjoyed being able to grill outside and cook a few meals in the condo. Again, Karla made it easy as everything one might need was at your fingertips! Tropical Blessings was perfect for my family and none of us wanted to leave, but reluctantly we left paradise behind as we yearn for the day we can return again!

Spectactular views, great location, and beautiful, tropical decor - our favorite place to stay!!!
My friends and I have been vacationing in St. John for several years and we were very happy to find Tropical Blessings last year. The villa is beautifully decorated with high-end, comfortable, tropical furnishings; and the view is spectacular! We couldn’t wait to return this year and are already making plans for next year! The location can’t be beat. It is an easy walk to all the downtown restaurants and shops, yet in a quiet area for a peaceful night’s sleep! The property managers are top notch as is the welcome basket of goodies from the deli -- such a special treat after a long flight! The spacious balcony is the perfect place for morning coffee and evening cocktails (one of my friends has mastered the Lime n’ the Coconut – one of our favorite island drinks). We also enjoyed the Wednesday night sunset cocktail party at the Coconut Coast Studio (a two minute walk from the villa). Thanks so much for that recommendation Karla! We had seen people walking around, sipping cocktails at the studio and always thought it was a private party. You were right about no pressure to buy anything, but I did buy a couple of small prints and some coasters so that I could bring a little bit of the island home with me! My friends and I haven’t stopped talking about our wonderful week on St. John; and Tropical Blessings is our perfect “home base” for exploring the island! We’ll be reserving our week for next year as soon as we are able to book a flight!

Fabulous place in Cruz Bay!
This rental property is fabulous. The location is great, the place is well stocked and clean, and the views are wonderful. There is a pool, barbecue, and many conveniences. We lacked for nothing! The one thing you should know is that the walk into town is a bit hilly (up and down) but if you can walk, it's a great location. I recommend this place most highly and if I returned to St. John I would stay there again. The owner really cares about your happiness!

Fantastic Condo with very hospitable owner and property managers!
We truly enjoyed this amazing place! First of all, Karla spent time on the phone talking to us and many emails giving us information about St. John and the surrounding area. This was so helpful since we had never been. We were trying to put together a perfect trip for teenagers and our family. It couldn't have been better! Peter and Gail picked us up from the ferry and gave us a lot of good information about the area. They were very helpful. The condo is so comfortable and beautiful! Karla has everything that you would need there. We loved having the coolers, beach chairs, and beach towels for our daily outings. We especially loved waking up every morning to the beautiful views from the patios with our coffee. I found everything that I needed to cook with and we loved having all the dining space. There is a wide selection of movies (lots of kid friendly) and books for down time. The condo is very close and in walking distance to shops and restaurants. We loved having a jeep to explore all the amazing beaches. St. John is an absolutely stunning island and you will not be disappointed! There are many excursions that you can go on and so much to do and see. We hope to come back real soon! Thank you Karla!

Top of the line accomodations!
I first want to say sorry to Karla for it taking me so long to write my review, I wish I lived on island time in the states. LOL The condo was everything we expected & MORE! I loved booking with Karla because it was so personable. She will truely make sure everything is taken care of for your vacation! It was a breeze checking in with Gail who met us at the car ferry & we followed her to the condo. When we arrived at the condo there were snacks waiting for us that Karla had arranged & also the cold beer & water I had asked Gail to get before we arrived. It was a great refresher from a long day of traveling & very much appreciated! Each room was great & with 3 couples on the trip with us there was plenty of room & we all had our privacy. The kitchen was well stocked & we ate at the condo several nights on our trip & used the outside grill to grill some fresh snapper we purchased. Other nights we walked into town which was a short distance away. We enjoyed the pool & had it to ourselves most of the time. It was awesome to have the beach chairs & towels for us to use as we went to the beach every day! I'll sum my review up by once again saying how wonderful Karla & the property managers are at Tropical Blessings! This was our second trip to St. John but our friends first & we really blew them away with booking this condo & of course touring the island. We will definetly be back !!!

Perfect!
We just returned from a two week stay at Tropical Blessings. I can honestly say that it was starting to feel like home & we didn't want to leave. The condo is so well appointed that you will not need a single thing. It was so nice to arrive & have not only a welcome basket, but also basic items such as paper towels, dish washing powder, trash bags, etc. On our last vacation we arrived to a completely bare home & had to start from scratch & buy everything. The property managers are amazing. For example, I left my camera charger at home & they worked for days to find one for me to borrow. Just incredibly nice people. The owner of the property, Karla, is a pleasure to work with & is a sweetheart. I feel like we are friends even though we have only communicated via email. The condo has an awesome library of books & movies if you need any entertainment. The condo is in such a great location! The walk to Cruz Bay restaurants is hilly, but very doable & will help you walk off the calories from your delicious meals. We walked it almost daily with a six year old & a 65 year old. We wouldn't hesitate to go back & highly recommend this beautiful condo!

In three words . . . Absolutely Breath Taking!
Tropical Blessings was a wonderful experience. The home is amazingly beautiful and well kept. Attention to detail makes this the perfect home setting in St. John. From the decor, to the arrangement of furniture, to the quality of the linen, Karla has put a lot of work into keeping this home in mint condition. This is only a 10 min. walk to "downtown" St. John (even better - 9 min. walk to the Beach Bar!) so the location is great. Had a wonderful time with the family. Can't wait to go back. Thank you! Lovely house in paradise!
I came to St. John for my beach wedding this July, and we rented Tropical Blessings so all of our guests could stay together. I couldn't have been happier with the house. It was tastefully decorated, impeccably clean, and lots of thoughtful details were everywhere. We didn't really cook, but if we had, the kitchen would have been perfect. It has absolutely everything - even a spice rack! There was also a curling iron in the master bathroom that was much better than the one I brought, so I used it to curl my hair for my wedding. Thanks Karla! Our friends loved sitting and talking on the deck, and we had the swimming pool all to ourselves (except for some iguanas). In fact, we hardly saw or heard any neighbors the whole five days we were there. It was my first trip to St. John and Karla spent nearly an hour telling me all the best places to go, which was super useful! We followed many of her suggestions, including eating at ZoZo's on our wedding night. The restaurant is exactly what we were looking for, and it's right up the street from Tropical Blessings, so we walked home afterwards to continue celebrating. If you're traveling to St. John with a group of people or your family, I definitely recommend staying here instead of an impersonal Cruz Bay hotel.

Absolutely the best place to stay in Cruz Bay!
The pictures don't do this condo justice. It is extremely clean, well maintained, and is homey and comfortable in an elegant way. The location is ideal. It's walkable to town, but also accessible for taxi service almost at the front door. The view from the balconies, master and main living areas is stunning. We arrived very late and the care taker met us after midnight at the ferry to take us to the property. We had a lovely basket of cheese, cold cuts, bread and salads waiting for us, which helped to carry us until we could get to the store the next day. The kids really enjoyed the swimming pool and one evening we grilled burgers on the grills provided by the pool. We also enjoyed a taxi tour of the island, visited Caneel Bay, and visited several beaches. We enjoyed shopping at Mongoose Junction and had fabulous meals at Banana Deck, Cruz Bay Landing, Uncle Joe's Barbecue and Zozo's at Caneel Bay. Castaways was a great bar where we watched football on Sunday. Mr. Wonderful taxi service was outstanding. Overall we had a wonderful stay and highly recommend Tropical Blessings.

Best appointed condo in which we have stayed
We had a great time in Tropical Blessings. We have been coming to St. John for over 25 years and this is the best appointed condo in which we have stayed. The kitchen has everything you need and more for cooking and dining. The whole place has a nice tropical and comfortable feel to it. You can dine either inside or on the deck with a beautiful view of Turner Bay. There is a nice private deck off the master bedroom with the same view. WiFi is a must and it worked without any problems. There is a large screen TV for the kids. The beach chairs, coolers, and beach towels were all new. The pool is small, which is typical for St. John, but it was very clean and the kids had a ball in it. We really like the location in a quiet neighborhood. There is a hill between Tropical Blessings and the sometimes noisy center of town, but it is an easy walk to the restaurants and stores of Cruz Bay. Parking in Cruz Bay is a nightmare (worse than Boston). It is very convenient not to have to drive to the restaurants for dinner. We will be back. Andy Arrison

Wonderful Trip, Beautiful Condo
I have never written a review before but had to do so for Tropical Blessings. My family and I visited in late July for a week and I could not be more pleased with my decision to stay at Tropical Blessings. The condo is fabulous - beautifully decorated throughout, plenty of space, good wireless internet, and a perfect location. We were able to walk to Cruz Bay each day and what a beautiful view on the walk to and from the condo. The owner, Karla, could not have been more helpful with car rental and all other information related to St. John and the condo. Then, after a wonderful week - we were supposed to leave on Saturday - Tropical Storm Bertha came through and the ferries were shut down so we were literally "stuck" for another day. Karla allowed us to stay in her beautiful condo an extra night (which was above and beyond any expectations that I had given the situation) and I will definitely return to St. John and Tropical Blessings.

25 Years + kids
We stayed a week for our 25th Anniversary and brought our teenage kids. The villa was as nice as the pictures. Lots of room for the 4 of us. The Owner had someone meet us at the ferry landing to take us to the villa and answer questions. That was extremely helpful. Only one other unit was occupied while we were there, so we had the pool and parking to ourselves. We rented a car and drove to the beaches and around the island. We walked to town every day, but it is hilly. The car rental companies, traffic and roads leave a lot to be desired, so I think I'd skip the rental next time and use taxis.

Beautiful home
Topical Blessings is truly a blessing. The condo is beautiful, very clean and spacious. It has every amenity you could possible want. The kitchen is well stocked, there are plenty of towels for bath and beach, beach chairs too. It's close enough to town to walk if you want to, a couple of steep hills, but very doable if you're somewhat fit. Karla and Gail are pleasant to work with and very accommodating. We would definitely rent this condo again. Thank you for helping our visit to St. John be so enjoyable and sharing your home with us.

No words to describe our experience
Where to start? First by apologizing to Karla for taking so long to write this review. Second by explaining that it took so long because I knew I would have a hard time finding the right words to describe our trip to Tropical Blessing. We were greated by Gail and Peter at the Ferry Dock and they took us straight to Tropical Blessing where we were blown away by the condition of the condo. Its been said by other reviewers but the pictures truely do not do it justice. The unit is completely updated , immaculately upkept, and our needs perfectly. Gail and Peter were great and stayed almost an hour telling us all the insider secrects about the island. We were so well informed that we felt like locals and not tourists! The location was perfect. Walking distance to town (if you don't mind a few hills) but far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet when desired. We actually enjoyed the walk home which gave us a chance to work off some of our too many bushwackers (best bushwackers in town can be found at Motu the first bar on the right when you get into town- complete with view). Karla was very responsive and answered all of our questions about Tropical Blessings and island with so much excitement and love that we just couldn't wait to get there and experience STJ. She made the whole booking process so easy. As for the island, I can't even go there. This review will only allow me 1,100 more characters and that's certainly not even enough to get started. great vacation!
We had an amazing time at tropical blessings! My fiance and I stayed there along with one other couple and we had plenty of room. We could have easily brought two more people with us. The location was perfect. ..within walking distance to everything we wanted in town and there was a market close by. The kitchen was well appointed and the views were terrific. We would definitely stay there again!

Amazing St John Villa !!
This villa met all of our expectations and more. We were thrilled with the immaculate, spacious kitchen, dining area, and large deck, with another table. We had 3 couples on the vacation, and really appreciated having the 3 individual baths, for privacy. There was a surprise food basket waiting for us with local cheeses, crackers, olives, and other snacks (which we devoured at Honeymoon Beach). We appreciated that extra touch along with the lovely Caribbean decor throughout the Villa. The management company accomodated all of our requests, and theyre close by, so you need not worry about renting there. The location is close to town, which is another convenience, and you can easily walk there. Our favorite beach for snorkeling was Honeymoon Beach at Caneel Bay, and for relaxing, were Maho, and Cinnamon Bay. Our favorite restaurant was Rhumb Lines, in Cruz Bay. The owner also was gracious with sharing her favorite places, and restaurants which also helped with our planning. Hope you will love St John as much as we did!

Everything you need for a wonderful trip
My husband and I attended a destination wedding in St. John in November 2012. We stayed at Tropical Blessings with two other couples. It was beautifully decorated and immaculate and we all immediately felt comfortable and at home. The layout of the condo (none of the bedrooms are next to each other, three full bathrooms) allowed for plenty of space and privacy for each couple. Tropical Blessings was fully stocked with anything we could have needed, including beach towels, a cooler, and beach chairs that we could bring with us to the incredible St. John beaches. The pool isn't huge but certainly adequate for a dip, especially since if you are in St. John you really should be at the beach instead of the pool! The location was ideal for walking to town and all the restaurants/bars. The consensus at the end of the trip was unanimous - every one of us said we would definitely stay here again!

What an Amazing Location!
My girlfriends and I were on St John in August and were fortunate enough to find this wonderful location to stay at! Karla, the owner, was a real pleasure to talk to and had a number of great recommendations for our stay. This was my 4th trip to St John and I have rented from a number of locations on the island, never at a hotel... This was the BEST location so far! It was well stocked with all the necessities, better than I've ever experienced and the condo itself was just beautiful. I would recommend this location to anyone! Thanks to Karla for opening her beautiful home to us!
